Tiny Girl does Modest Fashion. Almost.
Tiny Girl got into difficulty getting dwessed this morning. I persuaded her not to move until I'd found my camera. I think the pencil skirt style shows off her long skinny legs quite well, though the cut is probably a bit inappropriately tight, and as she wisely put it "I need my other twouser leg too to play on my scooter"
There's a certain trend amongst the various 'conservative' strands of American society towards 'modest clothing', fuelled in part by dominionist nostalgia, in part by patriarchal misogyny and in part by other people on the internet.
A very clever person has set up a business-cum-Christian ministry called Love My Jean Skirt to turn your jeans into denim skirts. Saying God is on your side is easier than claiming to be ethical, because nobody can ever definitively prove you wrong.
